This evening: A couple of storms in our area just after 5 p.m. No watches or warnings at this time.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible each afternoon and evening through Saturday. An isolated severe storm or two can be expected as well.

Since midnight, we’ve seen 0.69 of an inch of rain in Cartersville and 0.06 of an inch of rain in Rome
