Discovery Channel’s ‘Road Trip Masters’ to film episode in Rome later this month

Road Trip Masters is hosted by Nick Kessler and Brian Fulmer as they take viewers for a ride in their 1968 convertible Cadillac DeVille.

Discovery Channel’s Road Trip Masters will be filming in Rome at the end of this month, July 31-Aug 3, for an episode to air during the 2018 season, according to officials with the Greater Rome Convention and Visitors Bureau.

According to the show’s website, “Road Trip Masters is a half-hour TV show hosted by two educators, Nick Kessler and Brian Fulmer. They have one mission… to tell the story of unique travel destinations across America. Nick and Brian take viewers along for the ride in their 1968 convertible Cadillac DeVille as they road trip to places like Annapolis, Maryland, the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, Newport, Rhode Island and Lake Placid, New York. They explore each town or city in a fun, spontaneous and adventurous style. Viewers are informed on the history of the area, where to stay, places to eat, and things to do.”

The show will film at a local hotel, one local restaurant and two action adventures or unique activity segments, as well as general scenes around town.

The show runs on Discovery’s Destination America, Discovery brand channels and distributed to Amazon, Apple TV and Roku. Click here to watch season 1 video clips.
