The intersection of Hwy. 278 (Nathan Dean Pkwy.) at Chattahoochee Drive in Rockmart is buzzing with activity. A new AT&T Wireless is rising quickly just in front of Walmart, across the entrance drive from Wendy’s and Zaxby’s. The current store is located up the road in the Triangle Foods Shopping Center at 1069 Nathan Dean Pkwy. and will be moving to the new location in September, according to a store employee.
Just across the highway, the new Chick-fil-A continues to make progress storms toppled the framing last month. Owner/Operator Zach Thomas and his leadership team consecrated the restaurant on Wednesday afternoon by writing Bible verses on the wood framing before the walls go up. And just down from Chick-fil-A, the new Martin’s Restaurant is also quickly rising next to El Nopal. Martin’s, especially known for its breakfast biscuits and chili dogs, is slated to open mid-September. The company currently has two locations in Cartersville.
