Mrs. Anna Mae Menard Barcomb, age 95, of Rome, passed away on Friday, July 7. 2017, at a local healthcare facility.
Mrs. Barcomb was born in Brookfield, Vermont on June 12, 1922, daughter of the late James Menard and the late Ona Mae Stevens Menard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Barcomb, a daughter-in-law, Mary Barcomb, four brothers and one sister. Mrs. Barcomb worked for a number of years in the textile industry. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Ronald Barcomb, Rome; a granddaughter, Janis Lyn Pearson, Rome; a grandson, Brian Ronald Barcomb and his wife, Lindsey, Rome; five great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Barcomb will be cremated. A private interment will be held at a later date in Anderson, South Carolina.

Mr. Phelan LeVance Kasonovitch, age 70, of Acworth, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at a Marietta hospital.
He was born in Floyd County on November 4, 1946, son of the late Pete Kasonovitch and the late Maude Roush Kasonovitch. He was a graduate of East Rome High School and was a veteran, having served with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Christian and was a member of the I. B. E. W. Local #613 and worked as an electrician.
Survivors include two sons, Philip Kasonovitch of Kennesaw, and Peter Kasonovitch of Cave Spring; a granddaughter, Ashley Kasonovitch of Cave Spring; the mothers of his children, Shirley Rogers of Cave Spring and Jill Kasonovitch of Ellijay.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at 11am in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Tuesday from 6 until 8pm. At other hours, they may be contacted at each of their respective residences.
Pallbearers serving are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, at 10:30am on Wednesday and include: Ed Hicks, Chris Hicks, Russell Scholes, Charles Hulsey, Chris McCrory, and Joe Jeffords.
Jeremy Lee White, age 37, of Rome passed away, Tuesday July 4, 2017, in a local hospital.
Jeremy was born October 29, 1979, in Rome, GA. He was the son of the late William and Ola Laverne Milsap White. Jeremy was employed with the City Of Rome, as a mechanic and a bus driver in the transit department. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Ola Laverne White. Jeremy loved working on anything with an engine and was a Georgia fan.
Survivors include his wife, Camron Graham White, a son Tristan White, 3 daughters, Abby White, Madison White, and Adelyn White all of Rome; sister, Kimberly (Kim) White, Rome.
Family will receive friends, Sunday July 9, 2017 from 5-7pm at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
Funeral Service will be held on, Monday July 10, 2017, at 2pm. at Radio Springs Baptist Church, 1489 Radio Springs Rd. Rome, Ga; with the Rev. Jerry Howell officiating. Jeremy will lie in-state at the church from 1-2 pm on Monday. Interment will follow at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are asked to be at the church by 1:30pm on Monday and include; Timmy Bonds, Brandon Bunch, Byron Bradfield, David Cole, Sky King, Jay Harbin, Winford Bray, David White, and Jeffrey Hutchins.
Jeremy was a Georgia daddy, and in honor of him, the family request to wear black and red, or Georgia Bulldog attire.
