Media release: On Monday, May 22, from 4 until 8 p.m., the Calhoun Police Department will be joining neighboring law enforcement agencies throughout the state as Georgia joins hands with neighboring states across our nation for “Click-It or Ticket, Border 2 Border,” in an effort to reduce the fatalities in highway accidents.  In the past year, 61 percent of the fatalities we have suffered were unbuckled or not known if buckled. That is more than 300 people. This is a trend we can all help turn around through education and enforcement.  So please: “Click-it or ticket.”
