Mary  Ann Adams Scott

Mrs. Mary Ann Adams Scott, age 73, of Rome passed away Tuesday April 18, 2017 at her residence.

Mrs. Scott was born August 29, 1943 in Fort Payne, Alabama a daughter of the late Howard Adams, and Lila Mae Parris Adams. She was of the Baptist Faith, and was retired from Flower By Jacki Florist after several years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Scott, and son, James Loyd Scott. Mrs. Scott was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and Nana.

Survivors include his sons, Greg Scott, Rome; Steven Scott, Rome; grandchildren, Vickie Smith, Lauren Stack, and Ashley Scott, great grandchildren, Hana, Hope, Ashlyn, Lucas, and Lila, sister, Sharon (Winfred) Bryant, Rainsville, Al; brothers, Gary Adams, Pensacola, Fl; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday April 21, 2017, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev Roger Parris, officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday April 20, 2017 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.

Pallbearers include the following gentlemen and are asked to meet at the funeral home by 1:30 P.M. on Friday, R.L. Stack, James Smith, Dominic Witt, Cody Cochran, Jackie Greene and Charles Poole.
