Mr. Harold L. Frazier, 88, of Rome, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at a local hospital.
Harold was born on November 11, 1928, he was the son of the late Lloyd Frazier Sr. and the late Bessie Brice Frazier. He went to work for Coca Cola right after finishing high school and worked in their advertising department for 43 years. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church which he joined at the age of 11 and was celebrated for being the oldest active member for 77 years. He served the church in many capacities including Chairman of the Deacon Board and Sunday School Superintendent.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Edith Couey Frazier; his daughter and her husband, Janice and Jimmie Moon; his grandson and his girlfriend, Jason Moon and Alicia Cockrell; his sister, Mary Sue Adams; his brother, Lloyd Frazier; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Edna McGill and his grandparents, John and Gracie Brice.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 314 Burnett Ferry Rd. with Doctor Dale Levan and The Reverend Bob Skelton officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 noon until the service time.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Jimmie Moon, Jason Moon, Mark Mathis, Steve Mitchell, Ron Plunkett, Bruce Perry.

Mrs. Lois Crumley, age 96, of Rome, passed away on Friday evening, January 13, 2017, in a local health care facility.
Mrs. Crumley was born in Rome, on January 10, 1921, the daughter of the late Thomas Leroy Wells and Emma Silvers Wells. She moved to Dalton an early age. Mrs. Crumley spent the greater part of her life in Rome and Floyd County. Mrs. Crumley was married in the late 1930’s to William Crumley and he preceded her in death in August of 2011. She along with her husband operated a couple of businesses in Rome and Floyd County. Mrs. Crumley spent some time working for Floyd Medical Center and Redmond Regional Hospital and then in her later years she was an accomplished seamstress. Mrs. Crumley was a member of the Mount Carmel Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Crumley is survived by a son, William Van Crumley of Rome; one brother and sister-in-law, James “Billy” and Florence Wells of Dalton, GA. A host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Crumley will be held on Monday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Carl Sidwell Chapel of Salmon Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Crumley will remain at Salmon Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.

Mr. Carl Ronald “Ronnie” Garrison, age 79, of Rome, passed away January 12, 2017.
Mr. Garrison was born December 6, 1937, Habersham County, a son of the late Marion Carl Garrison, and Ruby Grace Allen Garrison. He was of the Baptist Faith, and owner, of City Trade Center, and an a officer with the FCPD. He loved to travel with his wife. Mr. Garrison was preceded in death by his wife Marie Upshaw Garrison, son Mike Warren, brother, Jim Garrison, and sister, Avanell Church.
Survivors include his children, Bob Garrison, Rome; Sylvia Garrison Rucker, Rome; Debbie (Paul) Huggins, Big Texas Valley; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces also survive, and his faithful Terrier Molly.
Entombment and Committal services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday January 15, 2017 at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, with Rev. Paul Lynch, officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:30 P.M. on Sunday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen, Zack Rucker, Danny Alexander, Richard Camp, Mike Jenkins, Jim Doyle, and Marion Baxley.
Jerry Wayne Massey Jr., 52, a loving husband and Daddy, passed away from ALS on Friday, January 13, 2017 at his residence. He was born on August 20, 1964, he was the son of Jerry Wayne Massey Sr. and Gerettie Gertrude Patterson.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Macie Gunter Massey; his father, Jerry Wayne Massey Sr.; his mother and stepdad, Gerettie Gertrude and Bryan Patterson; his sister, Beth Patterson; and his brother, Jason Massey. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Megan Elizabeth Massey.
A Celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at a later date.
